Woke up late today. I have no idea why. 7.15 was what the face of the clock read, everything had a blue tint to it, getting brighter by the second. Bathed hurriedly, and my Dad drove me to school. Reached just as morning assembly ended.

We had all 3 sciences today :D Not only that, ALL WERE PRACTICALS. That = <3
therefore, we only had like, 3 periods in the classroom haha. Chinese, Geog and Maths if I am not wrong.

Physics practical was weird and slacky, for once. Funny how resistors work, one period was gone before anyone did anything. Luckily for us, it was fairly short, drawing the graph took up more than half the time but I still managed to finish up, as did the rest of the class. I hate Static Electricity, for the record.

Chem Practical was alright. Handling concentrated HCl was like, pressure. Spilling here or there could result in drastic ramifications, scarring/burning. Ruining someone elses or, more importantly, my life. Drama a little bit but. Yeah.

Bio..... Cutting the Pig Eye was fun. Though I thought it was supposed to be sheep.... Ah whatever, an eye IS an eye. Cut it up. Kind of disturbing the slight tingle I get when I am cutting flesh. My lab partner cut my gloves.... Twice.... And I broke a scalpel so that's 3 things I sort of broke. The test tube in the Chem Lab, the Scalpel and the windows or window. Not really my fault for the last one, there was no stopper mechanism and the door just flung with maximum speed, smashing glass. Hngh. Not my fault. I blame the infrastructure

Binomial Theorem is confusing me more than Trigo. Really.
After weaving through the (hopefully) last chapter or Trigo I will see in my Sec 4 life. There comes a seemingly easy topic called Binomial Theorem..... My brother seems to have no problem with it and says the oft-quoted 'No Kick'....... I can't seem to wrap my finger around the different formulas that are present. What must or must not have the (n-1) or adding 1 or just keeping the ones. Too confusing in my opinion, really have to practise more on this. Why couldn't they have just added a function in the calculator to calculate stuff so that we do not have to remember...... 'effing formulas....

*Sniffles* Bring a downer to such a wonderful, though hot and humid it might had been, was the Bio test..... Didn't study Food Tests and Mono/Di- saccharides at all..... Rushed in the morning and worse still.... There was some breakdown in communication and somehow or rather.... Chapter 3 did not include Enzyme. Bitter-Sweet actually. Since the chapter on Enzymes was my worse by far, consequently, I studied extra hard for it and........ Turns out, we did not have to...

That and we are gonna have Bio tests in the coming weeks or so......... Consecutively

Struggled to find my Bio notes for over an hour, I knew this as I started at 8 and ended when I stopped for Heroes. Couldn't find the notes at all until I started looking in the sewing cupboards...... Yeah....Everything was there, Maths/Physics/Chem and Bio zzzz Like what the hell..... I started filing up everything just in case this ever happened again...

The double period after Lunch Break was a lot less tiresome than two weeks before, just some eye thing where I just couldn't understand why the cross was disappearing and demonstrating the eye's blind spot or something....... I refuse to do it as I still don't understand what's going, I could very well see the cross until around 1cm away...

After school is started raining(It was already raining actually) waited at the bus-stop and cars kept coming by and crashing through the puddles of water onto my white uniform, to make matters worse. The bus-stop was filled with students, caused me to miss a Bus 93 as view=completely obscured.

OH YEAH....... Got back my Bio 5ys/tys....... As if I will have time to do it now.....

Maybe it's just that I never really had any lessons after Lunch Break before this year or something like that, my biological clock seems to signal, somehow, that my brain has to shut off after lunch. Felt beyond languorous durign Physics, though the core concept was grasped, it was a fight to keep the upper eyelid from touching the lower one for more than 2 seconds. I was spending a lot, or maybe, all of my willpower doing just that. Sleeping was tempting, though I have never done that, the school has tables that are too dirty for me to rest my head on haha.

Finished up with Chapter 13, though there's still a huge hole regarding R-Formulae in my memory banks, totally blank. Hopefully, let's just hope that the vacuum is easiest to fill up/an empty canvas paints a something picture phrase works in this context as well.....

Oh yeah newspaper collection. Nothing much really. just the usual stuff, knocking on doors and having 4 possibilities, nobody answers; answers with nothing; nobody answers or hearing the tv inside. Skipping 4 hours, the thing was done and everyone left. Some of the Sec 4s stayed back. Kind of fun throwing stacks upon stacks of newspaper into the cargo hold or whatever you call it. IF it wasn't for the Sun that was seriously weirder than a woman during her period. It started out slightly sunny, just nice. Then it switched into hot mode, then to cloudy, back to hot zzz.

Seriously though, sad as it is, some of the papers look brand new, like totally untouched, from like, 2 to 3 months ago? Haha. I could even remember the days on which the newspaper was dated, from Sharapova coming to Singapore, to the slightly puke-worthy performing by Britney Spears.

It was a lot hotter than it looks. Skiing seems fun, until you hit something on your way down

Taking time out to read a book is getting increasingly difficult, so far, only reached the 2nd part of Contact Harvest, which is pretty strange as for Ghosts of Onyx and the volumes before it, I finish the book in 2 days, sometimes 3. Not that the book isn't interesting or anything, it is, just that juggling everything at once, it's a little harder than earlier anticipated. Getting used to it though, going to have to keep up a higher pace for the coming months.

Chemistry is finally becoming clear-er to me now. Guess the work done to force equations into memory really works when you are applying it and not basing it off memory. If only I could remember the basic formulas for Trigo that well. At the moment, 11.1 is the hardest chapter of Trigo for me now..... Which is pretty ironic.

The 'O' Level results were released today hm. Fought Qi Quan in Hajime no Ippo Portable. Had to get used to the mad amount of lag though, which made me lose my first round.... Which was totally dumb seeing that I knocked him down at least 6 times and he just downed me once and I was out. Totally weird-ed out system

BUT! For the next few matches :) Totally screwed him over , no offense. It was probably due to him not being able to deal with mid and close range characters that much. Don't get me wrong, we were all playing with Featherweights(Ricardo Martinez notwithstanding) Just that I was a tad bit more experienced when it comes to anticipatin punches. Though, having too counter Ippo's innumerable blows was ridiculously stressful, choosing Mashiba and all, who's defence rating is kinda low, it truly was like what every match in the manga was, "If it lands cleanly, it could have changed the tide of the match."

Locking yourself in a room and with nothing but music in the background really does wonders for when you are studying. SS Mindmaps for Sec 3 are more or less done, have to finish up and then move on to my Geog Notes. Really have been slacking at these 2 subjects for far too long, talking about the same thing and dancing around it was really too much work to get it. From wide swings to compact blows they say, working here? We will see

I am getting so pissed off at the inaccurate depiction of the discrepancies in the power levels(strength-wise) between different weight classes in Hajime no Ippo Portable thought that is the only thing I hate about the game. The highest weight class in the game so far are the Middleweights and the Light-Middleweights namely, Takamura/David Eagle and Bryan Hawk respectively. Those are the "World Standards" then comes the other guy that is a Middleweight but so totally sucks, as the JBA Middleweight Champ (Ex) You would think that the guy was over a hundred years old given the sluggy movements and pussy rights. Come bloody on, even being in a higher weight class, loses to a Bantamweight................ BANTAMWEIGHT! In an in-fight...... Boooo~~~

So they say that Master Chief will not be playing a lead role in the Halo Movie. Normally I would be pissed which would be like saying, hypothetically speaking, Zelda not in a lead role in a Legend of Zelda movie or Snake not being under the spotlight in a Metal Gear Solid Musical( Ostensibly omitting a mention of Mario...... For obvious reasons>>> Google it) Not feeling nothing at all.

John-117 has never been a particularly big-on hero(or something like that) like say the Italian Plumber or the (future)Prince of Hyrule. He is more of a small part of a big picture. Bowser is always defeated by Mario for instance but the Master Chief requires a lot of backup and support to finish the fight. So the decision to not cast him in a lead role would actually, in my opinion, be a good idea, passing it on to people with more personality(see: Badass) SGT Johnson. Samuel L Jackson would be perfect for the role with the getting rid of Motherf****** Covenant off the Motherf****** Planet thingy. Fine, humour is lost over the internet.

What about school. Nothing much. I think I've got some ammonia stuck in my nose or something, not kidding, I keep picking up the odour of NH3 whenever I take in a deep breath. No one else seems to be able to smell it though. We got our Marist Companions today('bout fucking time) and I guess we all just realised how early the 'O's are gonna be. Realising only now that I am starting to find that memorising the latitude and longitude of where certain types of forests are, is pretty difficult to say the least, seeing as, the capacity of my mind for such random stuff is probably already reaching critical mass, random facts, nit bits and such

I do not know why, but I am beginning to feel more and more tired as the days go by. It's accumulative in a way. While waiting for Champion Road, might as well write something here.

Woke up early; though for some reason my phone screwed up and the alarm didn't ring and went for road marshalling. The amount of cars driven by the newer batch of Sec Ones, per 400, are just staggering, more reasons for the government to put a gantry point or raise COE prices I guess.

Talked with a few parents, although it was pretty difficult to hear what they were saying since the band was playing over and over again and it was like trying to let your voice penetrate through a jet engine or something.

After the whole thing, went home, changed, my bro didn't even hear me come in even though I was stirring up a ruckus. Took a bus to Jia Hao's house to revise Maths. But well obviously we couldn't do much since all the people there simply suck at Plane Geometry, even with Jared and his "Give them marks". We pretty much ended up doing our own work for awhile before it started to rain, heavily, seriously, there might as well have been no break between the flash and the roar of the thunder, it more or less came at the same time. Scary haha

Started comparing Aerith and Tifa after I saw Jia Hao's canna Tifa picture thingy. Seems like everyone else likes Tifa, which I do in a way but Aerith is so much better, other than being stabbed by Sephiroth of course. She's a White Mage, H3Al0Rz. Is like, obvious choice lol.

Went to Paragon for dinner with my parents, it seems that even at Orchard it is taxis waiting for people again haha. Didn't even really do much there, didn't walk to Kino to get Contact Harvest and I couldn't get the One Republic CD as Gramaphone closed down, or something

Feeling a little tired today, no reason as to why it is really but, it's a semi relaxing/frustrating feeling, at least, I know the moment I hit the hay, I hit, the hay.

Fridays seem a little slack-ish,we probably only have 2 real periods of studying while the others are for the talking side of studying, real fun haha.

Gonna have to wake up early tomorrow for CCA Maze zzzzz. Night

If a picture tells a thousand words, then a video running at say, 30 frames per second would tell 30,000 words hmm. Not really sure if the game runs at 30 or 60 frames though, but since they are using SCIII's fighting engine...... We can say that this game's probably not going to be balanced.... Or fun

Sad things aside

Nothing much happened in school I guess.

After school, went to the National Library with Keith, Jia Hao and Wan Ling to study. For once the 'fish seemed a little, despondent, even though she wasn't the one in the same crap basket that I am now.

I never knew that we could eat in the library, or at least, in some areas that permit it anyway. Studied Trigonometry with Keith, which I think I have some ideas on, except of course, having to refer to the table for the memory work, sooner or later I guess.

The vending machine dispensing sandwiches was great, as the products produced by the said machine were simply delicious. However, the same can't be said for the drinks machine next to it, it makes sounds like a donkey being slaughtered as it gets the drink, bad design choice IMO.

But of course, you probably already knew it.

Went to Kinokuniya at Bugis and saw Contact Harvest on sale, didn't buy it as I am kinda strapped for cash, oh well, next time I guess, still have to finish reading Letters from Iwo Jima.

Typing this early, have to do some SS revision now haha, which is pretty weird. Really

Now I know what trouble can come when misinterpreting a message. That's all I am gonna say.

That and the A Maths's test was screwed up, didn't know that there was gonna have a test so soon....... Haven't even really scratched most of the Sec 3 syllabus, the harder ones that is..... All I wanted to do was build up on the Sec 4 syllabus before going back t Sec 3, apparently, it fell flat

I am beginning to think that if I drop my A Maths, I might as well stop thinking about doing well for my O Levels since seriously, what good would doing well and entering a good JC but be unable to take up most of the combinations anyway?

Yek. I hate remembering stuff. Never could remember much of my Chemistry stuff (unless they were those that I kept doing over and over again), Bio( for all I do for the paper is talk lots of crap and just hope and pray that something hits the right note) and Chinese formats. But for all those, I could look around for hints and roughly remember what's going on. Trigo is err....... Bad. I can't even remember them 'xept for a few, not that practising really help now since I can't do more than 3 questions before having to look at the formulae sheet again..... Haiz

It was a rather short school day today I guess, however, for some reason, this was the only day that I felt as somnolent as I did. Even at the first lesson, I was ready to be knocked out and had to fight with all my will to keep those eyelids from welding shut. For some reason, I was able to absorb most of the information during Physics..... Or at least I think I did

For English, we had to do a comprehension which I could have finished faster if I was not contemplating as to whether or not I wanted to just lay my head down for 15 minutes, after about 10 minutes I thought, screw it and I just rushed through everything. Hoping that after recess, with a full stomach, I would be refuelled and recharged. Heh. Not so much

During Chinese we were asking whether or not the author was married or not, obviously she wasn't since she was looking for love right? There are other reasons too though that we can check the status of her love life

1. The picture drawn shows no sign of a ring on her 10 fingers (or 8 fingers and 2 thumbs)
2. She obviously has no husband
3. Her nose's too big
4. She's thinking about stuff not concerning her
5. She's married but due to her being materialistic, she marries for money but not for love, however, after realising it and not wanting to lose her share in her marital assets, she wants to find a toyboy secretly.

I am starting to hate Standard Deviation more than simultaneous equations....... For the same reasons..... Just a lot more. I THINK there is still one more portion of it to go, which will probably kill me, or something haha

School was alright I guess, didn't forget to bring any files or any notes which is a good thing I guess. What's that bad thing I was hating....... Oh Yeah...... There is a day when school ends at 4.10 pm... Because of Bio....... Condensed syllabus my ass..... I still have no idea what we are the steps for protein digestion and deanimation lol

Seriously, I can't aim for nuts, my arcing of both the Demoman and Medic is off...... Soldier rocket anticipation is neither here nor there....... And my backstabbing still sucks. Wait, it always has and always will haha

I think I can more or less confirm a trend right now....... Everytime my PS2 goes into a bag. I will never ever set it up immediately( home that is) Which, seeing the situation this year, better last for longer than it is shorter.

The race is going to start next week haha. I guess I will just have to start slow before going into a zombie like muggin state.... zzz...... I hate that feeling so much

Bill Gates' CES Keynote was....... Weird and funny lol. Come on, the retirement skit was hilarious plus, he called friggin Slash to end the keynote with a quote "blazing heavy metal finale" un-quote.

Geometry Wars for the DS is quite difficult to play as, you know, no thumb-sticks at all......

SPOOOOOOON!!!!! Crap. I dunno why but today, I have been so clumsy..... And a little bit.... Blur, at least, more than usual

Woke up.... Had some petty argument with my mum about whether I had done my tuition homework. It ended with her calling up the teacher and confirming that I did it, obviously i was pissed and happy at the same time. Then I became all happy when she gave me cash :D

Went down to Parkway to meet Jia Hao. New things you learn everyday, never, ever, play a rhythm/music game on a bus, it's just too bumpy and sometimes your hit doesn't register which makes me restart the thing.... EBA!!!! I have been playing Anthem on Hard mode all day long.... To no avail...

Met Jia Hao and Daniel at Parway's Borders (which is pitifully small btw) and bought Daniel's B'day present "The Simpson's Movie" yeah. We didn't really have time to shop for a present so we had to make do with our resources lol. Dilly dallied around before Daniel's parents fetched us to Daniel's house

Of course, when there is a gathering like this there is always something we love to do. Whip out a PS2 and play Narutimate Accel or play Dai Di. I brought my PS2 with me since Daneiel's can't play Japanese games lol. So we played around while simultaneously playing Dai Di(rotating of course) with Jia Hao, Daniel, Mark and Daniel's brother.

Waited for Daniel's friend to come before heading over to Singapore Swimming Club, which was sooo close to Daniel's house, ate lunch there and Chayadi and Jared came, walked back but it started to rain, and just when we crossed the road.... 158 came -.-''' so we had to run back in the rain lol

So we continued playing Narutimate Accel with the usual peeps while the rest.... were..... Swimming and playing Tennis.... In the fuckin rain, WTF!? Jia Hao, Chayadi, Jared and I basically stayed up there and played while the rain was pouring outside. Then, all of a sudden my DS dropped while talking to SOMEONE on the phone....

Dropped my DS...... And errors started appearing.....

SS, who was supposed to be in Church or something came over with Wan Ling and we just played Narutimate lol..... Jia Hao can fight Jared already (In thick S'porean Accent) So we played for a while more and then......

My Handphone dropped...... and the cover came out.....

It sucks really since my DS couldn't work.... Went down for a BBQ for while it was drizzling, it was a pretty interesting scene when we we under an umbrella fanning the flames haha. The rain persisted for awhile, getting stronger, before finally letting up. We had so totally no idea how to cook Otah and stuff and most of it was uncooked lol

Talked some crap around the pool before going home with Jia Hao in Keith's parent's car

Came home and immediately started figuring out what the hell was wrong with my DS.... Found out nothing.... Just that the firmware installed was wrong....

I am so tired now..... As in Really Tired

After training, Bus 93 took hell long, at least 30-40 minutes or something. Almost dozed off while waiting for the bus, while I was on the bus and when I was walking. However, for some strange reason, I am not really feeling that lethargic now that I am at home hmm. Lighting. Ding

I am starting to hear the random ringing in my ears again, it really sucks when you are playing Elite Beat Agents and then, like some broken radio, Diiiiiiinnnnnggggg

So school and her lessons more or less begin today. There was a non-stop wind blowing upstairs, couldn't find a nice way to say it haha. During morning assembly it was a gentle breeze that everyone was enjoying, it drizzled and then rained later of course. However, I think by the 2nd period Jared and I were starting to hate it. The wind was blowing very strongly, the door outside was blown open if it wasn't locked and all the paper on and under my desk sort of blown off, everyone that wasn't weighted down flew off at least once :(

There was a surprise quiz for Chemistry on the first lesson. OMG. Without the Periodic Table I couldn't remember anything right, not like most of us really took the time to memorise everything again during the holidays again. Couldn't even check against the Periodic Table haiz. I actually sucked more than when I left lol

Went to Harbourfront to study with a few friends, realised that I cannot engage in Group Study Sessions due to my tendency to just want.... to talk haha. Did a few pages of my Differentiation before getting anxious and played JUS. Jia Hao's soooooo susceptible to peer pressure and he does so too, Shuan Siang starts doodling some shirt designs or something lol.

First Day of school was...... Heh. Didn't even feel like it was the first day of school, I mean, the whole awkward stage when everyone more or less kept to themselves. It's beginning to feel like the transmission between P5 and P6 you know, when we were all more or less acquainted and relied more on names than "Guy with face like the moon" yeah.

Miss Lum's no longer our form teacher for reasons that I do not know, Miss Teo took over, so it's Bio teacher after Bio teacher. Sad thing is, she actually bothers about the rules like, going out of the class on time I mean seriously, can't she just do what Miss Lum does and just switch off the classroom lights. Rockers.

Still, it feels weird to be called 4 Dominic. Other than the perks of being Sec 4; seniors and being able to sit one level above the hall, it really jolts you back into the realisation that, this IS the critical year, not going to be much time for (much) fun and games. The brackets obviously state my claim that I will not be turning into a full time mugger, not because I don't want to, but because I can't. Maybe studying in bursts works more for me, but, over an entire day? My mind will wander, still going to force myself to do though. Not really thinking about sad face anymore haha

SS, Keith, Jia Hao, Jin Yong, Wan Ling and I went to Leslie's piano recital. Can't really comment much since I do not really have an ear for classical music or anything haha. All I can say is.... :Intense

Met up with Jia Hao and Wan Ling who were "studying"..... Then when I reached Yoshinoya.... I learned that her DS had.... Problems. Somehow, whistling helps the thing work to a certain extent. Sometimes it does work, sometimes... It doesnt... Still played a few matches of Bleach DS and MarioKart DS haha......

OK.... It's late already. Gotta go nighty night. School starts tomorrow..... And there's training..... Damn
