Teacher's Day 2007!
Eve
The school had the Mr Cool Marist competition today for what is, I think, the second year....... I guess that it was generally better than last years....... But not saying much as last year's competition was a little stale and we had an emcee who kept saying "I meant it" *brr*...........
SS brought the PS2 today haha........... Too bad we were not allowed to play it....... That said....... We only had like 15 minutes before having to report to the hall lol......... Still........ 15 minutes well spent(sort of) by bugging Miss Lum and Mrs Tan in getting us to play the PS2 in hopes of just getting to see the opening cinematics:) (Lame I know it is)
Went up to the hall for the "festivities"........... Other school have ACES Day to stretch their legs......... My school lets us cramp it up...... But that's besides the point........
Proven Fact: The best way to bring the school's excitement to a hight point is by sabo-ing teachers into doing weird/embarrassing stuff on stage
Another Fact: You can easily bring the mood down from the paramount to rock bottom by just stopping a band midway
3D didn't have a representative for MCR(Mr Cool Marist....... Not the emo band).......... Justin was banned and barred from participating 'cuz his hair was a tad bit long.......... Doesn't really matter though as he is "flying to China"........ No one else there to support really........ 'xept for Samuel Ang and Yeh Xiang......... Samuel really should have gotten into the top 10 la...... Probably cause his best move was a quick get-up...... Which the judges probably slashed marks by the fact that the Emcee said that he was from TKD......... Yeh Xiang was just.......... Weird lol........
After that some bands came up and performed lol........ I think they must have given up midway in trying to get us to get up haha........ School ended 50 minutes after the Ntrix's supposed time and 20 minutes after what Mr Kwok had said lol
Not really complaining.......... Wilson and I took a bus down to the 'new' Maha Bodhi lol........... Drank sugar cane at the market across the road as the girls were later........ Ironically we were the first to get there but they were the ones who sms-ed me to ask where were we lol........ I am Winner lol......
Stoned around the school for a while........ The school looks nothing like the fine establishment that the 2004 batch left behind in Ubi(This was the first time I had come to the new campus)....... The canteen is actually smaller than Maris Stella's lol...... There were no windows to the classroom...... But empty holes above the dividing walls that I could just jump to look at everyone lol.......... Didn't see many of the 2004 batch of people
Observed some things............. Saw a lot....... And I mean A LOT.... Of TKSS and TKGS people la........ It's like half the school went to those two schools la lol....... Didn't know that guy from YuYing NPCC.......... Chicken Little I think........ Was from MBS lol......... He said he recognized me hmm........ I did not know until today haha....... I have a forgettable face..... That was what I have always thought Desmond ( Or something)
Yang Lao Shi is not teaching anymore........ Didn't even bother going to the Staff Room this year......Found Mdm Cheong teaching a class and talked to her for awhile......... The girls said that she did not recognize them lol......... She too did not recognize Wilson....... For some reason she still remembered me lol........ Including my name and year..... That can be both good and bad lol...... Either I was damn guai or damn naughty lol....... Don't remember me falling into either of the two categories at all.......... Guai would probably be one of the girls and naughty would be..... Shan't say it here lol
There was nothing else to do at school.......... Oh Yeah...... Haven't said who was there lol....... As in my class in alphabetical order........ Alisa, Clarrie, Gwendolene. Wan Jing, Wilson and me....... Went to back....... or front if you may............ of one of the classroom block and were talking crap all the way........ Alisa and Gwen were comparing who was shouting the loudest but I mean obviously....... Even with my rough voice and relatively soft WOC in my squad....... I can shout louder than girls la come on......Gimme some credit lol... Alisa and WJ were doing the weird ACES Day dance for like 30 minutes or something lol.......... I started feeling more demoralized lol....... Almost everyone was doing well in their studies but me :(
All this was done while waiting for Alexus........ Who was running across our Island Nation for god knows why....... Gwen and Clarrie left halfway cuz the wait was too long lol
Headed over to East Coast to bowl............ Wan Jing actually almost won me....... Alisa was on and off I think haha....... Jun Ling's gonna break her wrist one day lol......... Wilson and Alexus didn't even play la lol.......... Played horribly today....... Finally found out why when I got home....... Stupid me....... My parents told me that...... YOU CANNOT HOOK HOUSE BALLS! Shit la....... Lose face only haha........ Didn't even break hundred cause I was too stubborn to revert to straight haiz......
I am starting to notice a number of regular occurrences during our 6G gatherings lol
- We only start talking, in a very open manner, when we are rooted in a spot for awhile...... The ice still takes time to melt.... But sooner or later
- Emo is bad 'nuff said
- We also start to talk more when the thing is ending...... Me thinks it's the lingering feeling but that's just me lol

This is the most fun thing ever haha........... Though my tactics of cutting the open might be quote "brutal"........ At least I got it open right haha(Not shown in video)....... No doubt most fun(as in content) Biology lesson yet :)........ The heart feels like a rubber stress ball lol.......... Glad no one was afraid or freaked out by it....... Maybe Jin Yong haha
School was slack-ish entirely.......... The ending of term vibe must be getting around even the teaching faculty :)........ Good news for both students and teachers........ Slack here slack there........ And omg...... Jin Yong made the funniest sleeping face ever, bar none ....... Too bad Mrs Tan woke him up before I could do anything :(.......... Everyone around me got a laugh out of that haha
Speaking of which..... Mrs Tan said that for the recent Base Tests and Common test........ Our class has actually done better than higher tier 3F...... Meaning that we are closing the (effing) big gap between 3D and the god-tier 3A/3B........In terms of Maths only la....... Not feeling very happy about it really....... Makes me feel like I am pulling my class down(Again in terms of Maths) Haiz......
After school went to Chayadi's house before going to Houguang Bowl hmm........ Chayadi, Daniel, Jia Hao, Keith, Mark Koh, Shuan Siang and me lol...... The first two games were horrible as I was still trying out how to hook the ball lol........ I am determined not to use my spider-man(straight) shot unless circumstances calls for it lol
Daniel is super tyco la........ Throwing the ball any ol how also can go in de AARGH! But of course..... I have to be politically correct and say luck is a skill right?
I FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO 'HOOK' YAY! After failing miserably for the first 2 games....... I was able to make a concentrated effort after Keith and Daniel left lol........ Easier to get to my turn again lol..... A curse or blessing it really is........ Helps me to hit the pins more as compared to straight balls which are either hits or misses haha....... Problem is that now my ball spin is rather erratic....... This means that sometimes I spin my ball too much that it bends too much to the left....... Or that sometimes I spin too little Resulting in a gutter ball :( Chayadi's ball is infinitely more comfortable than Houguang Superbowl's anyday haha

Jia Hao and Keith had their maiden brush with bowling today haha......... All I can say is that Keith throws balls too hard....... Jia Hao actually throws too softly that I think the ball goes into a fixed line that other balls take lol....... Most of the time..... It fails to register a hit lol
SS bowling haha....... Forgotten whether this was before or after his hooking haha........... SS became real good la...... Both of us were looking around at the regular bowlers and found out what we did wrong haha..... Played a friendly with him which I won by only 2 points lol..... Both of us could have got higher haha...... We were like missing frames a few times...... At least we were striking and sparing quite a lot till the end hehe
Went home with Jia Hao at around 6.30P.M........ Read Rurouken on the MRT.... I must be lagging quite badly as I had not realized that I had not returned the manga to Chayadi lol........

Funny thing happened today....... When I was at the bus interchange going home..... The bus that I missed was packed as hell lol....... Luckily.... Less than a few minutes later.... Another 60 passed and it was totally empty lol

I have nothing else to do during class other than take pictures of people looking werid and/or stupid......... Most of the time....... The people in question are usually sleeping or generally in a state that makes them oblivious to the fact that I am taking pictures of them haha......... Blame the camera for the poor quality haha...... Need a slimmer one haha
I rather be doing weird stuff like that than doing my Chemistry for some reason....... Which pretty much goes against my drive to studying haha........ Our bodies have their own metabolism right? I blame my study snowball/metabolism haha......... Waiting for next week to study haha....

The term is ending(obviously)........... Jia Hao is demonstrating how everyone seems to be winding down and just feeling lethargic during curriculum hours haha.......... Not like Chinese lessons were the most 'exciting' of subjects but that's besides the point........ I know I must have said this before but............. Enjoying this feeling while it last........... Imma gonna stare at Ten Years Series for the holidays haha
Today felt even more relaxed than a typical Monday(I know it's Tuesday)........ Reason being that there was double period of English which was spent on Compositions and Mrs Tan being absent for god knows reason......... Probably something to do with her (She tells us not to tell anyone haha)............ As such...... The A Math and E Math test papers were not returned to us...... Not that I am complaining....... Since I more or less screwed up my A Maths because my mind was wandering around in lala land hmm.......
It started to rain in the morning........... And right through the afternoon........ What seemed to be the rain letting up...... Was actually just to tease me and started raining when I wanted to go to the park...... The rest was that I did not go for the run instead haha.......... Did some weights and cardio at home instead lol........I can't hold 20kg dumbbells in front of me for more than 7 seconds :(
Did anyone else see it?(I know you have) The thing was just going slowly....... The view from my house wasn't very good...... So I didn't really see it in person lol....... I got the next best thing haha....... Watched the thing from like 5.30 P.M to 7 something haha........ I fell asleep halfway but that was just because there was seriously nothing going on...... I was half expecting Martians to appear and say second Mars or something........ The Moon was absolutely breath taking even through the monitor..... It reminded me of Mars because of the red-ness lol........

My guess was that she was learning all those phrases from past beauty pageants about poverty and whatnot............ This solely proves that rote-learning does not work in all contexts haha
Jared returned his PS2 to SS today....... I think there was some miscommunication or something as none of us brought controllers to play during recess haiz........ Have to wait till after our Finals before playing it with the gang again haha...... I will probably be losing by then /em humble face haha

My mind's drawing a blank right now............ After studying cations and anions for the whole day(chapters not those two only)...........I can only honestly say that I have no bloody idea what the hell is going on........ Never been much of a memory guy per se.......... Questions regarding to theories and facts were never much flowing with me......... More of Sagara Sanosuke than Saito Hajime............ I go for "He who fires more arrows hits the target most" rather than "He who fires accurately will hit the target most"(Both sound much cooler in Jap)...........Futae no Kiwami! Anyway ya........ That's pretty much how everything ends up in my papers........... Write a whole bunch of unrelated stuff and pray to the big guy that one of them is correct.......... Provided that the paper does not penalize you for that haha......
I did badly for English.............. 51/100 is really bad......... Fifty one percent is a far cry from 72%........ 2nd to 24th is not really the progression that I was aiming for....... Blame my composition whatever......... It pulled down my marks like hell la....... It's almost as if they took the marks for Chinese and English....... Inverted them....... And Threw them into the grinder and spit out whatever's left..........
Chemistry was really badly done....... Although I wasn't as badly struck by it as English was.......... I didn't really worry for the reason that I did not do badly because of wrong definitions or misunderstandings........ But large-scale careless mistakes all the way....... Examples would be...... Cupper(II) Oxide............. putting 2+ for Zinc in a balanced equation............. Haiz..... Now I need help for the new chapter
Physics......... No problems for mathematical questions.......... But the rest.......... MCQ only had 5 out of 10.......... For all the theory questions......... Mostly zero........ Don't know why....... Just is....... Haiz....... At least I passed and did not have that problem like SA1....... Stapling something wrongly results in 10 marks lost......

Decided not to run today........ We had English Oral after school (While technically it is school hours).......... Running tomorrow :)......... I need the stamina to do the feints and footwork like anything haha........ Plus it doesn't hurt to get some exercise

The Penny Arcade Expo(Abbreviated to PAX) was opened yesterday I think....... I can't really say as I kinda suck at calculating the time difference......... Metroid Prime: Corruption looks awesome(as it always has)......... Though it looks a lot more dated compared to Killzone/Halo/MGS4.......... The drawbacks of having great gameplay little compromise is starting to show....... The Wii is certainly losing in the graphics department....... But meh..... Looks crisp enough to play........
Oh yeah....... Uwe Boll went up on stage to show some controversial movie......... Remember that violent game Postal....... Yeah...... He was making fun of 9/11 and political stuff....... Although probably not as he intended it....... It was rather distasteful and such........ FYI....... All of his films suck...... No offense...... Wait...... Yes Offense....
I know I search stuff like this too often and it MAY be affecting my studying rate...... Rate of study whatever........... But I tried it before....... Locked computer......... Controllers taken away.......... I just couldn't concentrate knowing there was something out there happening in the industry......... In the end..... Threw my books....... Went to sleep..... I guess rest helps right? Right?

Jared bested me in Chemistry again...... He got 2nd for Chemistry la....... How to win lol........ I need him to teach liao...... My bro teaches in the funniest way that I can't remember anything.......... To many long words and motor-mouth does little to move the point across........ Lol........ But in the end..... even though he got like 33/40........... He only beat me by 2 marks if I am not wrong for the total haha.......... I will leave you to ponder over that
Stayed home the whole day...... Called up Kinokuniya and I kid you not......... The ysaid that the 2 books were coming...... But mid-way.......... One of the books was damaged and they had to send some more.......... Why can't they just take someone else's......... Wouldn't that help me alot? So yeah waiting patiently...... As always....... Good things are something something something waiting for something something something....... Need to memorise some simple Shakespeare verses to sound classy haha.......

Watched Rush Hour 3 today with a few of my squad mates (Jermaine, Jun Xiang, Leslie, Yong Chuan) at Vivo City(again...... Sooner or later it will become as boring as Tampines Mall)
Woke up at around 8.30 A.M used the com to check e-mail/forums for awhile......... I was wondering whether I wanted to read 中華一番 or 妙手小厨师 in case I got bored(random)......... Decided on Chuka Ichiban leaving the house for the MRT station...........
I was suppose to meet Jun Xiang and Leslie at Aljunied.......... A conversation on the phone went on like this
Me: I am already at Kembangan liaoYup........ I boarded the wrong MRT train at Eunos Station for the first time ever........ Dunno what I was thinking at that time...... Must have been to engrossed with 妙手小厨师 lol......... In the end met up with Leslie and Jun Xiang at Aljunied before going to Outram Park before going on to Harbourfront.......

Went for breakfast and a first taste of SGD2.50 Milo Dinosaur...... Which was horrible when compared to a SGD1.50 Milo Dinosaur at a regular Indian Coffeeshop....... Watched Rush Hour 3 afterwards lol........ Really funny movie though...... Usual mesh-up of odd couples..... Racy (Non-offending anyway)......... Basically everything that makes the movie haha....... Still..... There IS a better movie out there that I haven't watched....... Bourne Ultimatum......... My friends who have watched it(on Friday no less) keep telling me that the movie is so effing awesome......... Must.....Watch

In other news....... Weird stuff happens..... Alot..... In One Day
I PASSED MY CHINESE! And in an amazing twist of fate......... Instead of failing....... I managed to get an A1....... 40/50 :)...... Still lost to Wilson by one mark....... Haiz....... Lose to of all people to Jia Hao...... Who was the 1st for Chinese according to the Ntrix......... I was only 3rd..... Jared like so sad la....... Like 世界末日like that....... Insult me la........ Lose to me one Chinese paper only not so bad what...... Own me in AMaths I haven't show black face yet la
Also we got back our Bio paper today too........ I got like 15/30 which is bad in a general sense but was enough for me as I more or less suck at Bio(Position for Common Test 1 was 31/31) haha......... So yeah PASS LE!!! Then again....... When I was like checking mistakes..... I went up to Miss Teo to get an extra mark but I got 4 instead due to marking errors....... Making it an 18/30....... B4 which sounds hell much better than a C6 lol..... Maybe being happy for this isn't very appropriate as it was me in the first place who did not see it properly....... Which was the same me who wrote proteins turn into glycerol HAHA...... Miss Teo asked me whether I studied or just anyhow whack and tyco get the thing lol........ I wanted to tell her it was because she told us in the lab that those who did not hand up the Bio would not do well........ Which was actually pseudo-prophetic
NPCC was very weird today.......... The hot sun screwed up our WOC............ Making even Jun Xiang forget some of the stuff....... The weird weather of hot and cold finally cumulated in me having a cold and a minor headache......
There was no training today...... Did not receive the notice in time........ This resulted in me accompanying my parents to the supermarket to buy groceries.......... Making everyone stare at me as my pants were not those think Taekwando pants that could pass off as track pants....... But thick and stiff Judo pants that look like I was wearing armour underneath haha

Which is a tall task by itself(no pun intended)

Going to post early today because I am probably (How strong that words is) going for an all-nighter for Physics…… It’s just that the build-up of momentum by the knowledge snowball of infinite
By the time most people read this…… I would have been getting restless doing the same damn questions over and over and over again haha……. I am beginning to understand most of the chapters….. That being said……. I am not really sure how much is “actually” understanding and how much that is in that jumbled brain of mine are actually key words and how much of it is really just me crapping about the same things over and over again…… Have to Pass Physics yeah……………….. I love thermal physics as it is quite straight forward…… I hate thermal Physics because it is one of the most straight forward topics……. This means weird ass questions that I have never seen before lol….. If Jenn Goh comese up with a killer paper…… Me screwed
Flunked Geog 12/25 L……….. The weird question with the Primary/Secondary wind and the levels marking question totally screwed it up for Jared and I……….. The whole class got the wind and spit question wrong…… With the exception of Jia Hao……. What can I say……. Small people have small people the thinking lol (Don’t really now how to translate into words)…….. I only got a L1 for levels marking which is totally crap……. Set a real bad mood with the class and we were hunting those who got bloody high…….. >.o Gabriel!
Ah…… The Chemistry paper……. What can I say…….. Shouldn’t be failing this one…… Emphasis on shouldn’t (obviously)……. I firmly believe that there are no guarantees in life and, as I have always say, life finds a way to just bite you where the Sun don’t shine…….. The paper on a whole was pretty simple….. Equations here and there…… But there wasn’t enough time! As a result…… I accidentally put down the precipitation method instead of Acid + Oxide reaction!!! Also I think I was quite careless as some of the answers I wrote down were different from my calculations….. Yet there wasn’t enough time to go back and check……

I admire Mrs Tan now……… She said that since the topic on Bearing was rather simple and straight-forward……… She ensured us that she would be able to take it slowly and not go like a bullet train as she had done for the past dozen chapters (I don’t know…..I don’t really study)………. Guess what she did….. She did not even come lol….. I guess we must start rushing again since it was a double period lol
Class was suppose to end at 12.40 P.M…….. But we had some Physics revision so we stayed haha….. I didn’t know that the relief teacher was gonna be Justina Tey lol…….. When Miss Lum showed me the list when I asked about Mrs Tan……. It looked like Mxrituc something…….. Teachers should really practice what they preach and get half decent hand-writing
We took the free period as buffer time after rece
iving our less than ideal Geography stuff……. Mrs Tey told us to study Physics but I gave up after 4 pages of SHC………. Ended up spending the entire period talking about Narutimate and trying to drill the concept of Itachi’s shuriken cancelling his àO before the Gokkakyu appears……… I don’t think he gets it…. Great period to really make you forget about your marks…… Until you realize that……. That doesn’t help…..

Yeah……. I think I will be getting the lowest marks in class for Add. Maths…….. I only managed to do some of the questions……… It’s like I totally blacked and muddled out when I saw the paper…… Only managing to compile my thoughts and focus properly when it was too late…….. The worst thing about it that it WAS an easy paper….. Just that I was unable to see the stuff….. To add fuel to the bloody bonfire…… During recess after the paper……… I learnt that I had substituted only one out of a few possibilities……. Dammit la haiz
This totally geared me up for my Chinese Paper
Which interestingly….. Was not as bad as I would have thought it out to be haha…….. A way to not make me feel depressed throughout the day lol……. Hopefully I will be able to at least get my B standard back for the Chinese Language………

That looks so damn cool...... Yet somewhat disturbing at the same time....... To those that may not be familiar with the Halo Universe........ They may actually perceive the Master Chief as a pervert who keeps holographic videos of exotic dancers haha.... Or maybe that's like viral advertising or something......... As in the Master Chief's hand is a Microsoft Zune...... *oooooh* *aaah*
The wait continues........ September 25th........... Not gonna get it on launch day I guess...... Would not make as much sense as Halo 2 haha....... I can still remember that day rather vividly...... November 9th 2004...... 12.30 A.M (Yeah so I wasn't there at launch time)......... Went to Funan to get Halo 2 for the Xbox.......... Didn't go to school that day for a few reasons........
A) We had to clean the classrooms (This were the MBS ones)
B) Had the goal of finishing Halo 2 Legendary Mode on my own(Which did not happen till 2006)
C) The school's weird talent-time would be strange and awkward haha
A MATHS!!!!! Just 3 chapters...... And they are giving me a splitting headache......... Partial Fractions in particular....... No matter how hard I try...... I keep missing steps or have careless mistakes while doing the steps lol........ EVIL!!! EVIL!!!!
School was fun I guess........... Biology test was okay in general....... Until the Structured Essay......... Which would either make me or break me......... The rest of the questions were rather manageable......... Hopefully there will be some cosmic forces of inversion that relates effort and results lol
The procrastination in me was taking control today haha........... I spent like an hour and a half in order train up my teching skills....... The only trouble I have now is bounce teching........ Need to get the timing down or face the consequence of easily avoided combos...... In other news........ I can tech all of Gai's advances lol........ Also..... I was training in training mode(funny how it works).......... Great for tech training as it seriously helps as you can just let the COM hit you for a launch without "dying"

Winner Right? This is what happens when you have no bloody idea as to when the English Compo test is lol......... No grammar mistakes..... No spelling mistakes....... Just that my text type was wrong and I was screwed by that....... Dammit...... According to this...... My English is gonna drop from an A2 to a F9 if I do not get 60% for my comprehension....... Which pretty much sucks monkey balls as I have no hope for even a B4 anymore...... Bad start to CA2...... Crossing my fingers and wishing that I can get a 35/50 for my Paper 2
Also....... This had taught me a few lessons....... First of which would be that writing ~800 words is wholly bad for your marks.......... Jaya says I should stick to my narrative writings as I am stronger there...... Or should I say safer there haha...... She adds that I have a tendency to become very emotional when I write and I may come off as a little hostile lol

The EMaths was neither here nor there I guess.......... I can't really say that it was an easy paper (though I could safely say that it was a relatively easy one) as I gave away 4 marks already......... And the last question was half-****ed as I was rushing to complete the paper and I think that I transferred the answer from the calculator to my paper wrongly due to my haste(in a bad way)........ Wishing for method marks....... Method marks..... Method Marks
Geography was rather meh too........ The false rumours of the answers floating around were like very dis-jointed and one person had another version of another...... Sabo ah...... Thus.... I can say that the sources are not reliable haha........ Also if I had followed what they were saying....... I would have just ended up studying the whole textbook again(Which is a bad thing)
I jsut wrote crap for my Geography all the way........ The hardest question was the first I guess..... I had no idea(as did most of my classmates) where the hell was the wind direction was and where the direction of the river flow from the river mouth was lol........ Basically crapping my way through levels marking and my SEQs again haha
Mr Kwok has officially run out of stories to tell haha.......... Although the situation(in real life) was more in sync with the story I guess..... The feed each other or starve story with the long spoons........ Jared and I were like laughing at how the visual that came out in our heads were bloody gay haha........... Today has just reassured me that my chronic state of hatred for shopping is not just a random thing........
It started as lunch...... Thought that I would reach the hotel at 12P.M+ and be home by 4 P.M+....... The food was okay at best........ Don't wanna say the name of the buffet restaurant lol....... In the end...... We went to the Central Shopping Centre and I literally sat in the same spot with my Dad and grandmother for 2-3 hours.......... I didn't want to shop for clothes obviously....... The stuff were either inappropriate for me to wear/ Not fitting with my personality(that would have been hard to find Ever)......... Yup..... So I was sitting there playing Championship Manager on my phone whilst listening to music haha......... I just realized that there are sso many songs that I just feel like skipping over lol

Oh yeah..... I cannot find Bioshock in any store..... It could be that I was looking in the wrong places but...... IT'S FRIGGING BIOSHOCK!! The game should be selling out everywhere..... Which is obviously not the case as some of the shops I went to had (women)salespeople going "Huh? Got such game meh? Must be lousy one la..... Never hear before"........ Of course not all spoke like that..... But some of them were just oblivious to the awesomeness that is Bioshock....... Women.......How they try tried and tried again but are easily looked over due to some of them.....
Watching the National Day Rally by the PM haha....... Nothing to do with me I guess until I am like 30-40 years older haha........ Only thing I noticed was that they are gonna deduct 2 points off people who are non-Malays who take up Malay as a third language........ My body did not listen to me in the morning today....... Resulting in me staying in bed for an estimated positive twenty minutes than originally intended..... Went down to the Immigration place(have no idea what it is called) opposite of the Lavender Mrt Station to prepare for the Korea trip...... The place was 'effing crowded la....... Luckily we did not have to stay there for long as extension was pretty much a simple affair and I was in and out in less than an hour haha......
Went to Funan after lunch....... Original intention was to look at new monitors but I think it was rather fruitless seeing as the computer fair coming so soon again...... Instead.... Our focus switched to looking at Laptops haha...... Of course.... I didn't get it(due to the computer fair)....... But I think I have an idea of the average price point of a Laptop judging from what I have seen in Sim Lim and Funan lol

First Day of CA2
Nothing much about the two papers really......... English was okay I guess....... The only problem I have with it is that I had to write the Summary 3 times haha........ For the 1st one I wrote about 180+ words...... Which was too long...... The 2nd one ended up at around 120+ words.... Which is too short..... With some trimming and edits here and there..... I ended up with an exact 150 words of err..... words.....
Not too sure about the SS test though....... Was cross-referencing here and there like nobody's business lol..... Didn't write conclusions for any of the questions though..... So my factors were like hyne long........ If I am able to find a remote link from Source to Source..... It goes into the answer haha........... You can just guess how messy my answer paper was lol
This are my predictions for my CA2 lol..... Pure guesswork... Nothing else
- English: Not really worried about this haha..... But it can go either way lol......
- Combined Humans: If my SS and EGeog are alright..... I say.... Hopefully a B or something
- EMaths: Meh........ The chapters are alright..... Hopefully I do "rather" well for it haha
- AMaths: I am royally screwed........ My Plane Geometry just sucks
- Biology: I am really hoping to score for this one haha.......2 Chapters of memory work and 12 hours(cumulative) of doing the old TYS haha
- Chemistry: Not too sure of this one......... QQ saw my paper and it was filled with "Change your cm3 to dm3" haha

This was what a China student (the second batch) gave Jared and I.... It was really sudden and I think we both felt quite awkward and embarrassed that we did not prepare anything to give him in return lol...... Some of the others got miniature clay 兵马俑 haha.....The thing is really nice to look at for something so simple..... Plus it's crystal.... So... Yeah...
CA2 is starting tomorrow pfft......... Thankfully it's only starting with English Paper 2 and Social Studies...... As an added bonus/screw...... The SS test is gonna be SBQs all the way........ Which is good/bad to some...... Good to people like me who if I choose to study or not I get the same B3 haha...... Bad for those who chiong study ie. JY..... No offense haha
I finally finished my filing for Physics file....... Which is semi-bad as in the process of doing so...... I looked around and realized everyone was filing in ALL their practicals.......... So I had to rush to tear out all the stuff from the practical book haha........... Ended up with some blanks(from not having the tabulated answers) and some weird graphs that intertwine to form DNA haha.... Jared says my B7 experiment looks so outstanding 'cause

The only one time I am not searching YouTube for Anime Fights/Eng Songs/People doing weird stuff on the net lol..... For some reason S.H.E popped up when I searched for the tournament videos lol....... Being the curious person that I was.... I just opened it up and found this..

A rough idea of what it was....... Get 100ml of hot water in a beaker ...... Use a thermometer and record the temperature change every minute for 5 minutes...... Chemistry practical was fun-ner lol..... Me and QQ were basically racing to see who could finish A B C D E F G H haha........ I won lol....... Lesson learned was......No matter how many times you do it...... Ammonia gas never ever warms up to you (figuratively speaking of course)

Kwok said that the aerodynamics show that the bumblebee should not be able to fly as it's body is too barrel-like and it has tiny wings........ Yet it still is able to fly through "something something"..... And that we are able to do stuff that the school tells us to do lol

So ends my fruitless journey to try and get Exodus........ Interesting enough..... A few days back I was wondering whether I should get the book from Kino or Borders..... I am now left without a choice(sort of)....... Short version..... Went to Kino.... Out of stock..... Walked to Borders...... Also out of stock...... Reserved mine at Kinokuniya :)
The funny thing is that........ This is the first time that I have went out to get a book...... Only to have the retailer tell me that they have run out of stock..... Don't get me wrong..... Books run out of stock all the time.... But come on.... The book is not very well publicized in Singapore like other books..... Hope to hear from Kino tomorrow about when the stock's coming in...... The bright side of this is....... I guess there are more Hellgate aficionados than I have previously thought in Singapore...... Yay for SEA servers that are going to be populated haha
Walking around Orchard..... I realized that there are a huge amount of foreigners..... Not counting ang mors right.... I have seen/heard Korean/Japanese/African/Some other languages I am not familiar with........ I am not only talking about a small amount lol...... I think that it's safe to say that anyone who has been following the Halo 3 news for a while.... No doubt would have known this way before me haha........ This was the 1st picture I could find off IGN featuring the Flamethrower haha......... For those who have only played the Xbox version of Halo 1/2........ The flamethrower was feature in the PC port of Halo: Combat Evolved (Which I only played the trial version of)......... The fires just look amazing haha......... Liquid fire ftw

Woke up early to go to school......... My Dad decided to go to AMK Point to tweak the car's suspension..... Ended up spending an hour there.......... By the time I got to school..... All that I can study now is my Bio and Physics......

Haha........ Don't think of me as a sexist.... But this probably summed up what I thought of when the term 'Gamer Chick' was passed around......... Although now I can't really say much...... The new wave of feminist seem to be testing the water of gaming........ More Samus' I presume
I think now I have just screwed myself over (as legally possible)...... Either it's just my subconscious or some other forces...... But the one time where I have decided to study for a set duration of time and....... Fiddly-foo-ha....... I forget to bring back my files.... Not just that one file which I seem to forget time and again....... But ALL my files! That includes my files for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Chinese and English(not like it's really needed.... But here just for dramatic effect)........ Cool huh.....
This meant that I could not do any revision today at all as.... What do you know...... My only other source for information regarding to the subjects, textbooks, were all left under my desk..... Makes one think how large the space under the table really is...... Be it a blessing or a curse..... Can't really blame anyone else but me..... Now I have to waste some time in the morning to go back to school to get my notes back..... Hopefully...... The school will let me take it back haha
On a happier note...... 300!!!
My Dad brought back the DVD haha..... I don't really see the reason as to why the movie was rated M-18..... Sure the movie was rather violent..... But aside from the 'occasional' decapitations........ There really isn't that much that I haven't seen in a video game..... That being said...... Most of the games that I play are rather violent and whatnot......... Either way.... The movie can't possibly compare to the violence that is God of War haha......
Left 4 Dead is so close yet so far........ 2008 seems so far away still....... But I just realized.... For the coming year I will probably be spending so much time in the books that all the time for gaming will be gone..... Again..... The 'O' Levels are coming so soon....... :) :(............. So far there are only a few games in my mind
Assassin's Creed....... Team Fortress 2/Portal....... Left 4 Dead......... Halo 3..... BioShock....... and of course Hellgate: London........ Balance is key........ How I loathe what they are doing to the '92 batch

水月 ..... That which can be seen but never grasped
HAPPY NATIONAL DAY................. 42 YEARS OF (insert stuff relating to prosperity/progress)...... I am a man of few words......................../End
On the tele...... You see all the excitement and patriotism towards our great city-state...... The government is touting it as one of the best ones yet...... In that the change in venue and events, is a way to demonstrate what Singapore wants to do in the future..... The stability phase has been completed.... We now have to tread in new waters.... One that moves with innovation..... Made me think of what I was going to do in the future...... The income gap is getting higher..... With little space for the middle-class to stand anymore..... I seriously need to rethink my life.....
That was depressing (for me)
See......... Look what happens if I start thinking negatively lol...... 8 more years... Singapore will be 50 and I'll be 15 + 8 = 23...... Should be doing my University stuff before going out into the real world....... Finally.... Gen Y, as we are called, will be able to show and put into good use the "teach less learn more" scheme..... Yup....
Also...... The generation where people seem to have more tuition/art/enrichment hours than humanly possible..... Then having the very same people who put them in these courses warning them to never ever take the Arts stream.......... Cool Eh?

Nothing much happened today..... Spent the day watching Forrest Gump haha...... Went to my cousin's house for the National Day celebrations...... Yeah...... My life's boring like that
Random Notes:
The PS2 remains in my bag with all my clothes haha......... Dunno why but I have not really gotten into setting it back up...... Jin Yong told me that I had left my shirt at his house yesterday...... Looks like the tradition of leaving stuff at people's house is still ongoing eh?
The price drop for the X360 in Singapore is equivalent to the price drop in the US.....OMG!!!! Singapore has indeed improved!!! SGD50 = USD50.......... No conversions at all!!!!
